The vast majority of companies in the United States are not constructive organizations. But those who are have an incredible success rate. The definition of a constructive company, our definition of a constructive company is an organization that increases value for all stakeholders over time. Here’s why this is so important. If you have a company that helps everyone involved continue to do more. then your organization has a much higher chance of success. Let me give you an example. eBay does incredibly well because they democratize the garage sale, allow people to sell online. In the early stages that’s really what it was. But people did well on eBay, so more people sold on eBay so eBay grew so more people did well so more people sold. We see a very similar dynamic with Amazon or Facebook or any of the organizations that are out there helping people more forward, helping people create momentum, and have become constructive in that they’re helping all organizations attached to them improve.


When you become a constructive company, when you’re helping your team, when you’re helping your vendors, when everyone involved has clarity around outcomes, knows measurement as to whether they are successful or not, and knows exactly what they should be doing and what those around them should be doing, your company becomes adaptable, incredibly congruent, and you start creating momentum. Momentum not just from your efforts but from everyone’s efforts. And that collective effort will grow your company faster than you possibly could on your own. An organization that increases value for all stakeholders over time, for the entrepreneur, for the team, for the clients and members, for the contractors, for vendors, for the world at large has an extraordinary success rate. So the purpose of this program, or one of the big goals of this program is to help you build an organization exactly like this that increases value for all stakeholders over time, and by virtue of the fact that you are a constructive company helping all the organizations around you, you grow at a rate far greater than your competitors.
